A. G. Russell™ Survivalist® Sting – Coming Soon!

As most of you know, Sharon Ahern and I have partnered together in the company LANCER.  It’s my honor to announce that LANCER, in collaboration with A.G. Russell Knives, will be offering the first ever, limited edition of The Survivalist Sting.  This knife is a tribute to Jerry Ahern and his hero of THE SURVIVALIST series, John Thomas Rourke (JTR).

Rourke faithfully carried the Sting 1A inside his waistband, and while his knife was a Black Chrome Sting 1A, this tribute knife has been updated to A.G. Russell’s current Sting model. “This is an adaptation of a classic boot knife that I designed and we first offered in 1977,” said A.G.  “Many of our customers, who bought the original Sting in the 1970s, told me it was a great hunting knife because when one edge got dull, you just turned the knife over for a new edge. This redesigned version will do that equally well.”  The Survivalist Sting carries both the A.G. Russell and JTR brands.

This limited edition Sting will soon be featured on the LANCER website.  We will send out another communication as soon as it is available for purchase.

The Survivalist Sting is being introduced in book #33 of THE SURVIVALIST series, Deep Star, which is expected to be available in print in September 2015.
